The featured track today is found on the Michigan State University campus. The track at Ralph Young Field is the home facility of the Spartans. This is an old track with a deep history and tradition. It was recently renovated and reopened for meets in 2004. It last hosted the Big Ten outdoor meet in 2006. I really like the pine trees on the west of south side of the track. They give it a unique feel. And I will now be following the Spartans team a little more closely, as one of my current students will be running and jumping for MSU next year.
