The next track from Denmark is back to the standard shape. Lyngby Stadion has been here since 1949, and except for a few small updated to the grandstand and the addition of lights, very little has changed here. Fortunately, the installation of a synthetic track surface was also done at some point, and more recently than the other improvements. The track here only has six lanes, which isn’t that out of the ordinary. Outside the main straightaway, you will find the long jump, triple jump, and pole vault. The rest of the field events are found on the inside of the track. I really like this facility. It’s essentially an old, classic stadium, with a new track inside. The tiered class seating outside the bleachers is also of cool and unique.
