The track of the day today is found at Banja Luka City Stadium located toward the center of the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is one of those old European stadiums that has a long history. Used mostly for soccer, it opened in 1937. It has been renovated numerous times over the years. The 6-lane, red synthetic track was most likely installed in either 2007 or 2010, replacing the cinder track that was here until that point. On the backstretch, the track surface widens to accommodate the long and triple jump runways. You can see the shot put sector in the part of the north end D-zone. The rest of both D-zones have the synthetic surface installed for the rest of the field events. Seating in all sections of the bleachers totals 9,730.
