Today’s track is the first one from the tint island nation of Bahrain. Bahrain National Stadium opened in 1982, but was recently renovated in 2012. It’s capacity is listed at 35,580 people. The newly resurfaced track has eight lanes, with the steeplechase water barrier on the inside. There is a nice, double runway for the long and triple jumps outside the main straightaway, with pits on both ends. Both D-zones also have a green synthetic surface installed in them, and that is where you will find the other field events. The green surface surrounds the entire track as well. This looks like a very nice track, inside a very nice stadium.
