Pilditch Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium that is used for both soccer and athletics. You can tell though that it was certainly designed with athletics in mind, rather than a soccer stadium that they added a track too. The bleachers here are closer to the finish line and around the curve slightly, for great viewing. The field events are all on the inside of the track, but there is an additional runway with sandpits outside the main straight, right in front of the grandstand. The track has eight full lanes, and an added ninth lane for the sprints and hurdles. The water barrier is outside the track on the north end. The track is also down in a bowl, which I really like. You can also see the extra separate straightaway outside the stadium to the west, with a sandpit for practice. This looks like a great venue for track and field.
