I happened to stumble across today’s track by accident. It’s located on the island of Tinian, which is part of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. It is the second largest island of this U.S Territory, but the number of people who live here is under 4,000. San Jose is the largest village on the island with about 1,000 residents. So on such a small, remote island, it’s rare to find a track this nice located there. It has a red, synthetic surface, with six lanes. The high jump area is in the western D-zone. In the opposite end, there are three circle for the throws. A javelin runway is found on both ends. They also have a wide runway outside the south straightaway with a sandpit on both ends for the long and triple jumps. It’s too hard to tell for sure in the Bing photo, but it looks like it’s wide enough to have two painted runways there for the jumps. The high school does not have its website online yet, so I unfortunately couldn’t find much information there either.
