After searching for these northern tracks of Norway in this latest series, today I finally found a satellite photo of one in the snow. This one today is found above the arctic circle in Finnfjordbotn. The non-snow-covered track can be viewed on Google Maps. Only about 600 people live in this small town, but they have what looks to be a really nice track. This is the home facility of the sports club Idrettslager Pioner Friidrett, and they do have some photos on their website included with the articles. The surface look fantastic and must be pretty new. They have six full lanes, with the long and triple jumps on the inside of one straightaway. The other straight has two additional lanes for the sprints and hurdles. The south D-zone is filled completely with the track surface as well, which is really nice. I like this one!
