Today’s Venezuelan track is located in San Cristobal. Estadio José Antonio Anzoátegui was an older stadium that was built in 1965 It too was renovated in 2007, along with the other big stadiums in the country, when Venezuela hosted the America’s Cup in 2007. The renovation here however, was a little more extensive than the other stadiums. This one was completely torn down, and replaced with an entirely new stadium. It turned out really nice, and the result is this great-looking and colorful facility. There was a second track located outside the stadium to the south and that one has remained the same.
