For years, The Amazing Race was aired on Sunday evenings, so I have a hard time remembering that now it moved to Fridays. That means I have another track to post, from episode 3 today. Despite the historical significance of yesterday’s track in Oxford, the teams did not go there at all, but instead departed for Scotland. Today’s track is found less than a half mile from where the teams were to catch a ferry for the Shetland Islands. Chris Anderson Sports Stadium has actually been updated since the Bing photo was taken. The bleachers on the west side were completely torn down and rebuilt, and has seating for 500 people. This is a nice looking facility for track & field. It is now part of a larger sports complex, the Aberdeen Sports Village, with some of the facilities just opening this year.
Check out a great 360-degree look at the track HERE.
