I have a unique track today to post, and it’s one that I happened to find by accident when researching some Polish tracks a few weeks ago. This track was dedicated in September, 2011 when this middle school was built in Bielawa. Unfortunately, it’s still too new to show up in any of the satellite photos yet. This is a tiny, 3-lane track, as small as any that I have come across. What makes this even more unique it that they actually hold competitions here. The straightaway is long enough to run a 60m dash. A runway and pit for the long jump and triple jump is located in the center of the track. They also have the high jump at the opposite end, and the shot put outside somewhere. You can view a few photos with a write-up of the first meet at the school HERE. And I thought running the curves of an indoor 200m track was tough!
