The last track of the Marmonte League also happens to be the newest. The track at Moorpark High School just got a new surface before this season started, and it looks great. The Musketeers hosted several meets this year, including the Marmonte League Championships, as well as the Ventura County Championship meet. The Google photo above is obviously with the old track surface, but the one below is newer. You can see that the area of the synthetic surface has been expanded. Moorpark’s school colors are green and yellow, so the green lane numbers with the yellow shadow is a nice touch. I don’t know why more schools don’t do this. It’s a great way to personalize your track while keeping the same track color. I really like how this one looks!
