Swangard Stadium – Burnaby, BC, Canada

Swangard StadiumToday, it’s back to Canada and the site of yesterday’s Harry Jerome Track Classic, the fourth and final meet of Canada’s National Track League.  Swangard Stadium is a city owned facility, that first opened in 1969.  It has a seating capacity of just over 5,000, and it is used for both track and field as well as soccer.  This is a great looking track, placed in a beautiful setting among the pine trees.  Below is a video of a youth race from 2013 where you can get a great look at this track.  Being from a northern climate myself, I really like how this one looks.

Results from the Harry Jerome Track Classic can be found HERE.
