The next track from Lima is located at the second largest stadium in Peru (the largest with a track), Estadio Universidad San Marcos. This is an old stadium that opened in 1951. The track also appears to be old. It is an all-weather surface, but one that was installed quite a long time ago. The stadium is used mostly for soccer games, but has also hosted many big concerts in the past, including some of the biggest names in rock music. The stadium is owned and operated by Mayor de San Marcos National University.
