Up next in this Peruvian track series is the track at Estadio del Colegio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Cusco. It is located a couple blocks away from Estadio Garcilaso, the 5th largest stadium in Peru. The big stadium does not have a track, but this one does. If I am translating correctly, this stadium is called the “college” stadium. Soccer is played at both locations. This is a newer facility that was constructed in 2009. The blue track has six lanes. I’m guessing all field events are contested on the inside of the track because of the location of the facility. It’s right in the middle of the city, and there is no room for anything on the outside. It’s hard to tell in the satellite photo, but the D-zones are yellow. Even though this is a smaller track, it looks very nice.
