Today’s Atlantic 10 track is found at the University of Rhode Island. I’m going to start out by saying that having any track is better than having no track. At least you have a place to train. But wow, this track looks really bad, especially for a D1 college program. It’s even more surprising given how nice their other facilities are. Just look at how awesome their indoor track is below. The outdoor track, though – not so much. Unfortunately for the Rhody teams, it looks like the line numbers are the easiest markings to see. It is an all-weather surface, but is well past its prime. And I’m not sure the jump runways are even useable. It terms of future facility upgrades, this has to be at the top of their list.
