The track today is found at the National Stadium of Palau. It’s tough to see much in the satellite photo because of the cloud cover, but this track is pretty much surrounded by the jungle, and is just about 100 meters from the ocean which lies to the north. This is a 6-lane track with a new surface that appears to have been installed in probably 2008. There is spectator seating for 4000 people. It looks like a unique environment, and certainly one that is different from what you find in my part of the world.
