Stade Numa-Daly Magenta – Noumea, New Caledonia

NewCaledoniaWe’re on the Island of New Caledonia today in this Oceania track series.  Stade Numa-Daly Magenta is the national stadium, and was built in 1966.  It has undergone four renovations since 1985, with the most recent being in 2011 in preparation for the 2011 Pacific Games.  The track was upgraded at time as well, resulting in this fantastic looking facility   There is seating in the bleachers for 9464 people.  This is a 7-lane track and all field events are found on the inside.
