Yesterday it was the Crickets. Today its the Redbugs, and their home track at Fordyce High School in Arkansas. Fordyce is small town is the center of the southern half of the state, with a population of just over 4,000 residents. It’s most famous resident was legendary Alabama football coach Paul “Bear” Bryant. Bryant grew up in Fordyce and attended FHS where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. No word on whether he was part of the track & field team also.
This looks like an older, red-surface track. The have the trapezoid high jump area. Only one runway for the long jump, with only one sand pit. One pole vault runway and pit also.
