Well, we’ve made it to the W’s, so we are approaching the end of the high school state championship track series. Today, it’s Washington, and the track at Mount Tahoma High School. There are six competitive classes for track and field here, and this was the state meet site for three of them. Classes 2A, 3A, and 4A competed here May 23-25 this spring. This looks like a great facility, and kind of looks like a mini Hayward Field, because of the same style of covered bleachers. I’ve seen a lot of high school fields and tracks, but I believe this is the first one that I have come across with this awesome feature. And on both sides too. Very nice. HERE is the link to get to the final results for these three classes.
