Montana is next in line in the high school state championships series. They have four competitive classes in for track and field in Montana, and two will have their state meet at today’s track. Bozeman High School is the host site, and there are a couple of things that I really like about this facility. The first thing that I noticed is that there are ten full lanes, all the way around. You don’t see that very often. For a state meet, that can make things very exciting, having one or two more racers in each heat compared to most places. I also like that the jumps are on the inside where people can easily watch. The throws are outside the track, but are in a good location and are close enough to be viewed from the bleachers. Classes AA and B will have their two-day state meet on May 24th and 25th.
