OK, it’s finally starting to feel like spring in the upper Midwest. Snow in Minnesota is beginning to melt, so we should be able to get on the tracks here soon. So I believe I can finally post the tracks of my favorite DI conference – the Big Ten, since the outdoor season is about to get rolling.
I’m going to start at Indiana University, and the Hoosiers home facility, Robert C. Haugh Track & Field Complex at E.C. “Billy” Hayes Track, which may have the longest name of any track I have posted so far. This is a really nice looking track & field only facility. They have recently hosted the Big Ten outdoor meet, and well as the NCAA East Region meet. This is also the site for the Indiana high school state meet every year. It’s easy to see why. They have bleachers on both sides of track (holding 6,000) for great spectator viewing. Field events are located inside, again so they are easy to watch. This looks like a great setup!
