We have a few more African nations to cover in this series of track pictures, all of them being islands off the east coast. Today it’s the country of Seychelles, which is made up of 115 tiny islands. The population of the entire country is roughly 84,000 people, so I was surprised to see a stadium of this size found there. The track is located at the national stadium, Stade Linité, which was built in 1992. In 2007, it was renovated with new turf and track surface. It looks like a great facility in a great location!
