Today’s track is found inside Stade du 28 Septembre in Guinea. Like many other stadiums in Africa, this one is also named with a date. September 28 is a significant date in Guinea’s independence from France. It appears that this track is a cinder track with chalked lines marking the lanes (reminds me of my high school). Built in 1962, it was the largest stadium in the country, until a brand new stadium was just opened this year. As soon as Google updates their maps, I’ll post that one too.
