Staying South America, today’s track can be found in the mountain city of La Paz, Bolivia. Estadio Hernando Siles is the largest stadium in Bolivia with a seating capacity of 42,000. What makes this stadium unique, is it’s location and elevation. Found at 11,932 feet above sea level, it is one of the highest stadiums in the world. While being mainly used for soccer, it also has a track as well. Being over two miles up, I’m guessing it’s not a very friendly track when it comes to distance events!
