Lowdon Track & Field Complex – Fort Worth, TX

Still in the Big 12 Conference, today’s track is found of the TCU campus in Fort Worth.  Team USA member Khadevis Robinson ran for the Horned Frogs when he was in college.  Lowdon Track & Field Complex is their home facility.  Robinson, the 800-meter legend, finished 3rd in his qualifying heat is London, but failed to advance based on time.  This was his second Olympic team.  Robinson has won 8 US titles, with the first one coming in 1999.  This was also the home of long-time sprinter Doc Patton, who was part of the 4x100m relay team.  Patton ran the 2nd leg for Team USA in the first round, who had the fastest qualifying time.  They were beaten however by Jamaica in the finals, but what a great race!
