We’re going to stay in the Big 12 Conference today. In fact, today’s track like yesterday’s, is also in the state of Kansas. This time it’s the University of Kansas, and their track inside Memorial Stadium. If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know what a fan I am of tracks located inside big stadiums. The KU track does not disappoint, with a seating capacity of over 50,000. This also happens to the the college track of Team USA quarter-miler and current Jayhawk, Diamond Dixon, who won a gold medal for the 4x400m relay. Dixon ran the third leg for the US in the qualifying round, with a 50.26 split.
